Marsh Harrier takes Mallard chick.

It may be shocking but it's reality. In order for us to see the magnificent Marsh Harrier, other birds must die. You still can't deny the sadness though. Everyone loves a fluffy duckling. This birds mother called in despair as one of it's brood is carried away.

  1. Superb shot this m8 right time right place! Always sad to see other birds being killed i have witnesed this of late with a baby Starling being killed by a cat also I took shots of blue tits feeding their young for weeks as soon as they left the box they were killed by another bird, seems such a waste but that is nature.
