Marsh Harrier. 30.4.11.
Here's some more photos of the male Marsh Harrier returning to the nest site with prey. It's the third time I've seen him pass the hide with prey, once on each of my last three visits. There was no sign during todays session in the hide, of a second female that this male has shown interest in. I have seen less lately of his regular partner and I have seen him returning to the nest site with prey. It's reasonable to assume now that she has eggs and is now incubating them. Fingers crossed for a successful hatching this year.
